Nikolas Kasinos is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist. Born in Cyprus, he has received his undergraduate degree from London College of Communication, University of The Arts in 2011.
He is the co-founder and co-director at OUROBOROS, the artist behind the online platform Sometimes I’m ARrt and one of the creators of RELAPSE.
As a filmmaker he specialises as a Director and has extensive experience as a Video Editor, Producer, Cinematographer and Photographer.
Commissioned work includes Music Videos, Fashion Films, Shorts, Promos, Animation, Making of videos and Visuals for live events.
He has professional experience in contemporary dance as well as live and video performance-based multidisciplinary projects.
He has exhibited and performed at several venues in London and Europe including Weld (Stockholm) Trip Space, London TOPOHPOBIA, Royal College of Art, David Roberts Art Foundation, Cafe OTO, Bernie Grant Art Centre, Resistance Gallery, The Horse Hospital and Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club.
He has collaborated with Anton Mirto, Anna Koch, Chadd Curry, Dinis Machado, Ernesto Tomassini, Hector De Gregorio, Lina Lapelyte, Othon, Pennie Key,Renato Rocha, Polys Peslikas, Ron Athey.
Residencies include ImPulsTanz (Vienna), Dance4 (Nottingham), Weld (Stockholm), Skogen (gothenburg)
