Fifi Louche Kumo
I started modelling in 2012 when a friend of mine shoot me in Hyde Park, London. I had just got my hair done and I wanted more objectively to see what I look like. London is a very tough market to break into. As an inexperienced model I had to learn many things the hard way. I worked with a great many amateur photographers as I concentrated on developing body esteem, self esteem and confidence. As I am becoming a more experienced model I can say I have shot with an increasing number of professional photographers. Although London has a definate reputation in the world of fashion, I believe Berlin has a better reputation and a better market for artists. I stand out more in Berlin as a strong black woman than I ever did in London and this is something I embrace.
I walked the runway of London Fashion Week A/W13 for the Gerda Trubbon Collection, broadcasted on Fashion TV at Mint Leaf Bar and Restaurant, Trafalgar Square (London)
