We’re looking for an innovative, hyper-creative, super-fast and strategic Art Director to work closely with our creative, buying and marketing teams to elevate & evolve the visual language of Fy. We need it to start reflecting our brand mission and our huge ambitions.
You’ll lead the concept planning, briefing and production of stunning visual assets, from product imagery to editorial shoots, packaging and web design. The role will work across all of our platforms from our mobile app to desktop, social & email
Candidates should be full of ideas and passion for digital design and have a strong interest in fashion, digital innovation and pixel perfection
SPECIFICALLY, YOU’LL BE EXPECTED TO:
Concept and produce visually arresting assets in line with Fy’s brand aesthetic, with an eye to efficiency & scalability. You’ll be tasked with create reusable assets and templates that make it easy to and effective to quickly produce content
Work collaboratively with the merchandising, marketing & buying teams to create all in-app content, and bring to life visually engaging, on-brand stories across multiple formats such as video, gif, photo story etc.
Be responsible for the production of brand assets and creative campaigns for all channels (including emails, website, app, social channels, videos, print and digital advertising and direct mail).
Be the brand guardian & work to create and evolve style guides that set the stage for Fy’s creative, ensuring brand guidelines are always adhered to
Concept & manage all photoshoots & video shoots, working to build up our roster of awesome photographers & videographers
Recruit, manage and coach the creative team, as well an ability to outsource & manage the workflow using freelancers (including external copywriters)
Above all else we’re looking for someone who has demonstrated the ability to get large amounts of high impact work done and is excited about a new challenge.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED :
Extensive relevant experience in designing innovative creative for editorial, highly image-led brands – ideally in a fashion, editorial or retail focused business
Demonstrable understanding of user experience, working across multiple channels with the digital design team to produce innovative solutions and high quality design for mobile and digital platforms
You’re proud of an amazing portfolio of design work that spans a diverse range of offline and digital output
Proven ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining exceptional quality
You’re obsessive about great design and will iterate and rework until it’s right, and have creative mind teamed with a playful experimental spirit
Forward thinker, you are passionate about photography, fashion, design, emerging technologies and all things interactive
You have a big personality and a natural tendency to lead creatively, you have strong opinions and are able to explain them as well as fight for them
You’re a boss of Adobe’s Creative Suite, (expert in Photoshop, Lightroom & Illustrator)- knowledge of HTML, CSS and CMS capabilities is a big plus
